Its a yuletide from yesteryear at the 46th Annual Heritage Society Candlelight Tour. Along with fully decorated historic homes, each fashioned to represent a different era, there are strolling carolers and story-tellers, crafters and a Santas Workshop complete with snow, live entertainment and St. Nicholas, of course. You can also get a little shopping in at the Holiday Market on the plaza or step in the museum to see the latest exhibit. Over at the Barrington Living History Farm/Washington-on-the-Brazos, its An Old Fashioned Texas Christmas. Visitors to the farm will enjoy an 1850s holiday celebration at the home of Anson Jones, the last president of the Republic of Texas, where they can sing carols around a campfire, tour the decorated log cabins, listen to musicians, take a twirl on the dance floor or visit with costumed interpreters wholl give them the background on the farm.
