Dogs in Halloween Costumes 2012 in Honor of Howl-O-Ween
Yes, it's time for the annual Howl-O-Ween contest in which you get to help other animals while embarrassing your own.
Sponsored by the South Texas College of Law Animal Law Society, Howl-O-Ween gives you the chance to shove your canine into a costume, take his or her picture and post it to email@example.com by 3 p.m. Monday, October 15
Then, starting October 17 through October 31, people can vote for the dog they like the best by donating to said dog's pic. Money raised is designated for the benefit of Paw and Order and AniMeals.
To get you in the mood for this enterprise, our dedicated Art Director Monica Fuentes invested in several dog costumes and parceled them out to co-workers and friends. Here's what we came up with. See what you can do.
Pretty zesty in a pink hippo costume complete with skirt to hide those problem upper leg areas.
Her dedicated perkiness
Save the cheerleader, save the world.
The caped crusader
Okay, yeah, I've got a bit of a headache.
It's not easy being green
I am a really devoted companion and this proves it.
Ready for the Beach
Ah, the old put-sunglasses-on-a-dog trick. A classic.
Waiting for a Treat, Dammit
Wearing a pumpkin is always appropriate.
Careful, pensive, trying to keep it together
I'm thinking bones, bones, bones.
Cute and grumpy
Okay, so I'm small enough to be a sock monkey.
Ready for a black-tie affair
At least I don't have to walk like a penguin.
The happy couple
Can we get this over with, please?
It has been a long and winding road, but I've finally straightened out my act
I am a banana Star Wars fighter and I am not making this up.
I am so done with this.
