Who can resist Brad Pitt at his most brutal? (Well, except for that time he dumped Jennifer Aniston.) In the film Fight Club, Pitt is a very successful soap manufacturer (soap he makes from the fat that's left over from liposuction surgeries). He meets an ordinary, boring guy trudging through his ordinary, boring life (played by Edward Norton). There's a spark between the two men, and after a night of drinking and becoming best buds, they somehow get into a fistfight - which they enjoy! Wanting to reach the same adrenaline high from the first fight, the two start fighting on a regular basis. Pretty soon, without anyone talking about it, other guys join in the underground fighting club. As the club succeeds, growing bigger and bigger, Norton's character spirals out of control, until he's not sure what's real and what's not. There are enough twists and turns in the plot that by the end, you'll be doubting reality too. Directed by David Fincher (Panic Room and Seven), Fight Club is a fun, action-packed film that manages to deliver an emotional wallop. 11:55 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
