Gallery One Three Seven: "David McGee"

Curator Sharon Engelstein opens the new mini-show Gallery One Three Seven: "David McGee" today as part of the exhibit "No Zoning: Artists Engage Houston." The gallery's total area is just 1.37 square feet, making McGee forgo his usually large oil paintings and installations for miniature versions of his work. Today's opening reception is at 6:30 p.m. Regular viewing hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursdays, and noon to 5 p.m. Sundays.
