Inprint Margarett Root Brown Reading Series: Jonathan Lethem and John Jeremiah Sullivan

Authors Jonathan Lethem and John Jeremiah Sullivan share the spotlight at this installment of the Inprint Margarett Root Brown Reading Series. Lethem's works in fiction have drawn comparisons to the very best in modern American literature and been called wildly inventive. Drawing on classic pulp genres like noir and western while at the same time offering up bleeding-edge styles of comic book and graphic novels, Lethem's novels defy genre boundaries. Sullivan has been called one of the most important magazine feature writers of the past decade. His features show a depth of subject knowledge sorely lacking in modern literature yet remain at their core supremely humorous.
