Anyone whos seen the mockumentary Best in Show knows theres a breed of humans who take their four-legged friends seriously. Very, very seriously. But the Reliant Park World Series of Dog Shows promises much more than just overweight handlers jogging their precious pooches around a circle. Along with breed judging and obedience contests, dogs will compete in obstacle course, flyball and Frisbee-catching events. Vendors will sell all manner of doggie items (stock up on those dead possum-flavored bones!), and clinics on dog health, grooming and training will keep that canine happy.
