Stefan Karl: What a Son of a Grinch
The Grinch: Planning Texas-Xmas mega-heist.
Staying in character throughout his interview with Art Attack, Stefan Karl, the actor playing the lead in Dr Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical, cleared his throat with a belch, popped a fake fart and announced "Hello Houston" as our tape started rolling.
"I'm here in this town to steal Christmas," the enormously green Grinch said, declaring: "I love being a Grinch. Just hating Christmas and hating the holidays."
He explained that while he's the son of grinches, he never met his parents, and has no use for a Mrs. Grinch. "There's only room for one star in a cave." In fact the only scarce sentiment he displayed was a reference to his dog Max.
For a close-up look at the Grinch, his spiky hair and how he can still pick his nose even with those long grinchy fingers, take a look at our video after the jump.
