''The Impact of Racist Ideologies: Jim Crow and the Nuremberg Laws''

Recognizing the importance of keeping history from repeating itself, The Holocaust Museum Houston’s newest exhibition, “The Impact of Racist Ideologies: Jim Crow and the Nuremberg Laws,” examines the segregationist past of the U.S. and Germany. While Nazi Germany had the Nuremberg Laws to deny Jews political, economic and social rights, America’s Jim Crow laws limited the rights of African Americans. By viewing the images and listening to first-person accounts, viewers will be able to see how the struggle of Jews and African Americans mirrored each other. 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, and noon to 5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. 5401 Caroline Street. For information, call 713-942-8000 or visit www.hmh.org. Free.
