The Jung Center’s 23rd Annual Benefit Dinner - The Power of Untold Stories: An Evening with Cokie Roberts

She’s one of the most familiar faces in broadcasting — Cokie Roberts. She counts among her many titles NPR News congressional correspondent, best-selling author, syndicated columnist, political commentator and analyst. The Library of Congress calls her a Living Legend (six rugrats call her Grandma). So what’s the Emmy Award-winning Roberts doing in Houston? She’s here to lend her support to the Jung Center’s 23rd Annual Benefit Dinner — The Power of Untold Stories: An Evening with Cokie Roberts. For a mere $200, you can attend the dinner and hear Roberts’s speech, but for $500, you can schmooze in the green room with Cokie (that’s what we schmoozers call her). 7:30 p.m. Intercontinental Hotel, 2222 West Loop South. For information, call 713-524-8253 or visit www.junghouston.org. $200 to $1,500.
