When the Netherlands-based trance DJ Tiësto (real name: Tijs Verwest) comes to Warehouse Live today, there will be no question as to why he's ranked the No. 1 DJ in the world his mixes speak for themselves. In the last decade, he has upended the dance world with marathon six-hour-long sets filled with rhythmic beats and warm, pulsating tones. Tiësto has released solo compositions on the Nettwerk label and various soundtrack scores, including one for the 2004 Summer Olympics in Greece. And since 1999, he has helped produce an ongoing series of mixes titled In Search of Sunrise. Touring in support of the fifth volume of the series, today Tiësto will flawlessly mix a smorgasbord of progressive club tracks that'll have folks dancing well into the early-morning hours.
