OK- this place is not like any other. They all wear scrubs- thus the "kar Hospital"- very cute. They just changed my oil and did not find any other $400 repairs that needed to be made that day- and then they sent a Thank You note- really. they must know my ganny.

David & Buffy at the Kar Hospital have been fixing my vehicles for 9 years now. Buffy helps me schedule needed work on my vehicles & explains everything in such a way that I understand what needs to happen. They make sure that my family & I are safe and that we won't get stranded anywhere. When I visit their shop, I feel like I'm not only wanted, but I feel like family! They even give me treats to take home for my dogs!

The best mechanic in Katy, Tx. at the least...?..lol.....Joel Spires, with Advantage Auto on Hwy. 90 in Katy, Tx...he is the guy my family trusts w/our vehicles...and my family includes my 28 yr. old daughter and my 81 yr old parents........ nice to know that some companies are still run with the small time family atmosphere and ethics....women can feel safe w/these guys...Steve, Joel, Joel and Jack....one is the spanish version of joel..2 in one shop....

That ealier comment I made I thought I was voting for Midtown Auto Service. The computer tricked me, I'm a such A CLUTZ. Anyways, give them a call there located in the Midtown area. I dont remember there number but I know there website: midtownautoservice.net They are an excellant shop which they are also AAA Approved.

The owner, Mikey is pleasent to deal with. He's been fixing my mom and dad cars for years and now my own. He's is fair and honest:; which I don't see in very many auto mechanic shops. I was in Austin for 4 years, and yes I had some situations that I needed a mechanic shop. Now that I have a family of my own I will only trust my car to Mikey. He won Best Auto Repair shop 2006 in the Houston Chronicle.
