We were gonna say Craig's List, but then we found Adrien Gibson, who hangs out on Craig's List and who, despite the inauspicious place for a first meeting, is one helluva apartment hunter. Our friend used Gibson when she was looking for a place a little while back. He asked her what she wanted, where she was looking, what her price range was, and get this: He took her to a place that met her description right off the bat. No "this is almost in your range." No "it's close to where you were saying." None of that. Only friendly, efficient service, so efficient our friend signed up for the first place she saw. Can it get any easier?
Do not make any deal with Adrien Gibson, he's the sneakiest and most dishonest person i came to deal with. After renting one of his place he was supposed to send my deposit back. I never heard of him anymore and he just kept the deposit. Won't answer my calls or reply to my emails. Do not trust this guy!!!!
Yeah he is a real charmer - if you like that shady, sly, used car salesman type. He is about as crooked and corrupt as they come and completely full of it too. I used his services (or should I say disservice) in the late summer or early fall of 2006. I kept having this bad feeling about him, something just wasn�t right. So, I did some research and found out that he wasn't even listed on the TREC website as an agent! I am not sure why anyone would trust someone who is as fake and misleading as Mr. Gibson. I mean this is not shoe shopping that he is helping you with - finding that perfect home/apt is an extremely important thing... make sure you research your locator, ask for references and always follow your gut instinct!
