Jason’s Friedman’s NFL Picks, Week 13: Packing It Up Early
No use wasting time. The bounce back from the worst prediction week of my life starts now. What can I say? Everything that could go wrong, did. Whether it was wacky endings, a monsoon in Pittsburgh, or A.J. Feeley playing the game of his life, nothing went the way of my crystal ball. Hell, I couldn’t even win a game on Madden. Yep, it was that kind of week.
So no use throwing a pity party. It’s time to jump back in and recapture the magic that catapulted me to the top of the prediction pool in the first place. Today, Packers-Cowboys. Tomorrow, the rest of the week 13 picks.
Packers (+7) over COWBOYS
Wow, not an easy game with which to start, is it? I was ready to take Dallas from go, but then the line was released making the Cowboys favorites by a whopping seven points. That just seems too high, doesn’t it? I mean, I know Green Bay was beset by injuries last week, and I know the Cowboys tend to be killers at home. But Dallas also features the worst pair of pass coverage safeties in the league. Yeah, Roy Williams and Ken Hamlin are that bad. So as long as Brett Favre doesn’t forgo his weekly sip from the fountain of youth, I think the Pack can keep it close.
Cowboys 27 – Packers 23
