999 Eyes Freak Show
The 999 Eyes Freak Show features a lobster woman, scorpion man, sword swallowers, a two-headed pig (not in a jar), other creepy animals (in jars), an elephant man, a midget who walks on glass, a fire-eating clown and other things you likely had nightmares about when you were four years old. The vaudevillian/punk rock attraction is like the popular freak shows of yore, only with more attitude, more sex appeal and better music. The main attraction is Jackie, the lovely human tripod who will team up with Danny, the handsome half-man. Weve never seen freaks that were so attractive before; you may want to prepare yourself for developing some new fetishes.
Music will be provided by 999 Freak Shows That Damned Band featuring St. John the Flipper Man on the drums. Texas Citys Come See My Dead Person and local group The Sideshow Tramps will also provide a sound track for the evening. So come one, come all, and see the freak show featured in National Geographic and Ripleys Believe It or Not at 8 p.m. Super Happy Fun Land, 2610 Ashland. For information, call 713-880-2100 or visit www.super-happy-fun-land.com. $11.
Sat., Dec. 1, 8 p.m., 2007
