Ain’t Misbehavin’

The joint will be jumping with tunes from Fats Waller at The Ensemble Theatre’s Ain’t Misbehavin’, the 1978 Tony Award-winning musical revue that’s jam-packed with hot sounds from the Jazz Age. Songs like “‘T Ain’t Nobody’s Bizness,” “Your Feet’s Too Big” and, of course, “Ain’t Misbehavin’” will make the summer nights sizzle. The sexy fun of the music accompanies a tale about love by Murray Horwitz and Richard Maltby Jr.; the characters carouse around New York City singing about sex, love and bad behavior as the Harlem Renaissance comes to life in all its finery. The show opens June 26 and runs 7:30 p.m. Thursdays; 8 p.m. Fridays; 2 and 8 p.m. Saturdays; and 3 p.m. Sundays. Through July 20. 3535 Main. For tickets and information, call 713-520-0055 or visit www.ensemblehouston.com. $20 to $45.
Saturdays, 2 & 8 p.m.; Sundays, 3 p.m.; Thursdays, 7:30 p.m.; Fridays, 8 p.m. Starts: June 21. Continues through July 20, 2008
