Kids will have a hard time keeping their feet under them at the new exhibit ''Balancing Act.'' There’s the Balance Bridge, a bridge that shudders and shakes as you walk over it. (Here’s a hint: the more people on the bridge at one time, the more it rocks and sways.) There’s also obstacle courses — the Balance Beam, Wavy Beam and Stepping Stones — that throw your center of gravity off-kilter just enough to make things fun. Our favorite is the Tippy Table, a shifting tabletop where visitors can practice stacking blocks. They won’t get too far, but it’s fun trying. There’s lots more, for everyone from toddlers to teens. 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m Thursdays, and noon to 6 p.m. Sundays. Through May 20. Children’s Museum of Houston, 1500 Binz. For information, call 713-522-1138 or visit www.cmhouston.org. Free to $8.
