One of the organizers, Sean Boyd, promises this will be the biggest incarnation of the biannual Bayou City Art Festival ever, with an anticipated crowd of more than 30,000 visitors and some 20 food trucks. Boyd says the outdoor festival appeals to both novice and veteran art collectors (and people watchers, of course). “People are talking to the artists; they’re hearing the stories behind the pieces…this is what helps develop a person’s taste for art collecting.”
