Molly Ivins's public persona is well known in every corner of Texas. She was born into a moneyed Houston family, carved out a successful career as a journalist and author and eventually became friends with the most powerful and famous people in America. Her private life is much less well known. Author and University of Texas professor Bill Minutaglio sheds some light on the unknown aspects of the woman's exceptional life with Molly Ivins: A Rebel Life, a book he co-authored with W.
