There promises to be plenty of smokin' tires this weekend at the 13th annual Pontiac Pro Stock SuperBowl of drag racing, where many of the top National Hot Rod Association racers will be warming up their vehicles before the pro season opens next week in California. Six-time series champion Warren Johnson, who won last year's Houston race, leads this year's contenders. But we're guessing most eyeballs will be glued to hometown girl Erica Enders -- a Texas A&M student and only the fifth woman ever to compete in Pro Stock races -- when she eases into the cockpit, grabs hold of that big vibrating stick and, um, heads toward the starting line.
