Legos are the hallmark of a childhood well-spent, but fascination with them by no means has to cease when you reach adulthood. On the contrary, teens and adults are responsible for some truly amazing artistic feats using nothing more than the plastic bricks. Brick Fiesta serves as a perfect showcase for sculptures in the Lego medium. For two days of the convention, Lego enthusiasts allow the public to wander around amid the staggering designs they have created. Massive cityscapes, huge rail lines and endless complex representations built of thousands of dollars worth of Legos will be on display. It’s a rare opportunity to enjoy an innovative art form. 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday. Westin Galleria, 5060 West Alabama.
Sat., July 7, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.; Sun., July 8, 11 a.m.-3 p.m., 2012
