Carlos Alazraqui

Stand-up comic Carlos Alazraqui is probably best known for his role on Comedy Central’s Reno 911, where he plays Officer James Garcia (“I am not a racist asshole prick, but I do play one on TV”). He also does quite a bit of voice-over work, supplying voices for such toons as Fairly Odd Parents, Rocko’s Modern Life and Cat/Dog. Currently he works on Nick’s Juniper Lee and Cartoon Network’s Camp Lazlo. His most famous gig, however, was probably the Taco Bell commercial in which he voiced the dog that quipped “Yo quiero Taco Bell.” Alazraqui has been to Texas before and he offers some advice to the Lone Star State, which he calls the “weird weather capital of the world.” “Take it easy with the air conditioning. It’s f-ing Vietnam outside and Rocky hitting a rib in a meat locker in the inside. How about medium?” Hey, Officer Garcia should make an arrest.
