Central Market’s Beer & Chocolate Pairing

The folks over at Central Market cooking school have come up with a class that’s sure to make students extremely happy — if not a little tipsy. Students in CM’s Beer and Chocolate Pairing class will try beer with different types of food. Today’s pairing class is led by pastry chef Eddy Van Damme. Born and raised in Belgium, Van Damme learned his craft in Paris and is the host of his own weekly television show here in Houston. What better way to spend the afternoon than letting the master chef teach you why Barry Callebaut white chocolate goes well with both Framboise and Cassis Lambic? 2 pm. 3815 Westheimer.
