Chrys Grummert’s “Linear Layers”
G Gallery presents an exhibition of work by artist Chrys Grummert, “Linear Layers.” This is Grummert’s second solo show with G Gallery, and the canvases are described by G Gallery as “delightfully colorful, optical, reductive and casual.” Grummert, who lives in Wimberley, Texas, layers colors one on top of the other and creates visually connected images. Grummert’s work is now on view at the 10th Anniversary Exhibition, People’s Gallery, Austin City Hall.
“Linear Layers” has an opening reception at 6 p.m. on June 7. Regular viewing hours are noon to 5 p.m. Wednesdays through Sundays. Through June 29. G Gallery, 301 East 11th. For information, call 713-869-4770 or visit ggalleryhouston.com. Free.
