Cirque du Soleil: Dralion
Don’t worry if you’re not in the mood for Scrooge, Santa or the Nutcracker, Cirque du Soleil: Dralion, an excellent family show, arrives in Houston just in time for the holidays. The story this time around is beautifully inspired by Eastern philosophy. The gorgeous music and breathtaking acrobatic moves narrate one of the oldest stories on the planet, our need to find balance and harmony with the natural world. Air, water, earth and fire are all embodied as the performers tell about the mythical dralion, a creature that is part lion, part dragon. 7:30 p.m. November 30. Through December 4. Toyota Center, 1510 Polk. For a full schedule, call 866‑446‑8849 or visit www.-cirquedusoleil.com/dralion. $40 to $95.
Nov. 30-Dec. 4, 2011
