French playwright Pierre de Marivaux hasnt enjoyed the same long-term success his contemporaries Molière and Racine have, but that doesnt stop Houstons Classical Theatre Company from presenting his work. Today theyll partner with Brazos Bookstore for a staged reading of one of Marivauxs more popular works The Triumph of Love. The romantic comedy has a prince and a princess in a whirlwind of secrets, love and disguise, and, like most of Marivauxs work, its lighthearted. 7 p.m. 2421 Bissonnet. For information, call 713-963-9665 or visit www.classicaltheatre.org. Free. ($5 suggested donation.)
