In Beth Henley’s Crimes of the Heart, at least one of the crimes in question is a federal offense. The Pulitzer Prize-winning dark comedy features the three Magrath sisters (Meg, Babe and Lenny), who get together after Babe shoots her abusive husband. Babe’s crime involved a gun and blood, but Meg and Lenny have also committed some offenses, albeit sans gunfire, in the name of love. Texas Repertory Artistic Director Steven Fenley directs. 7:30 p.m. Tuesdays, 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, 3 p.m. Sundays. Through April 7. 14243 Stuebner Airline. For information, call 281-583-7573 or visit www.texreptheatre.org. $25 to $45.
Thursdays-Sundays. Starts: March 15. Continues through April 7, 2012
