Were not really sure what Indiana Jones and astronauts have in common. Maybe Space Center Houston is featuring the Indiana Jones-themed exhibit Daredevil Island this summer because both sound cool to little kids. The center calls the new adventure exhibit a wild expedition for thrill-seeking visitors. Its really a cool indoor playground where you can bounce on trampolines while attached to bungee cords, and climb up a spider web of stretchy rubber ropes that appears to reach about two stories high. Theres also a 14-foot-long bridge of ropes and ladders and a maze with a treasure at the end.
The price to Daredevil includes admission to the rest of the Space Centers exhibits, so the kiddos can have a full day of learning and playing. Oh, and adults are welcome to play, too. 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. Through September 1. 1601 NASA Parkway. For tickets and information, call 281-244-2100 or visit www.spacecenter.org. $14.95 to $19.95.
