Writers Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope and Jamie Wooten have made a sort of cottage industry out of the Futrelle sisters, their much-loved hick characters from Fayro, Texas. The triptych of plays created around these goofballs includes Dearly Beloved. As the title suggests, this story concerns a wedding, namely the one happening between rich boy Parker Price and the much less rich Tina Jo Futrelle. Mother of the bride Frankie has arranged for the nuptials to take place at the Tabernacle of the Lamb with an elaborate Gone with the Wind theme, but things don't seem to be working out. First, Frankie's sister Honey Raye shows up wearing a skintight outfit of gold lamé and heaving from hot flashes. Second, Frankie's other sister has ditched the expensive caterer for 300 pounds of barbecue, donated by Clovis Saford's House of Meat, of course, and potluck treats served in Tupperware¨. But none of that's going to matter if Parker and Tina Jo decide to cut their losses and elope. See if anyone makes it down the aisle in Dearly Beloved at 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, 2 p.m. Sundays. Through May 2. Crighton Theatre, 234 Main, Conroe. For information, call 936-441-7468 or visit www.stage-right.org. $12 to $17.
