Dial M for Murder 3D

Heading to the multiplex to see the latest blockbuster in glorious 3D isn't new. The Natural Vision format was developed in the early 1950s to draw audiences away from their televisions sets. The result is a host of classics filmed in 3D, including Alfred Hitchcock's Dial M for Murder, which is screening at the Alamo Drafthouse/Mason Park. Hitchcock's thriller is the tale of a perfect murder gone wrong. Tony (Ray Milland) is a former professional tennis player married to aristocratic Margot (Grace Kelly). Tony discovers that Margot has been having an affair with famous crime novelist Mark Halliday (Robert Cummings). Spurred by jealousy, Tony devises a plan to kill Margot and enlists the help of a seedy accomplice. The intricate plan goes off without a hitch, up until a mistimed phone call leads to the death of Tony's partner in crime.
