This is our kind of holiday flick one with guns. And we're not talking just on screen; at this special screening of Die Hard, everyone in the audience gets a cap gun to shoot along with the hero. Die Hard stars Bruce Willis as NYPD cop John McClane, who's in Los Angeles to spend Christmas with his estranged wife, Holly. Terrorists take over Holly's office party, and John's the only one who can save a building full of people. (Don't bother about details like why and what things are blowing up here, people. Concentrate on the big stuff.) John fights the terrorists, alone, with just one gun, a walkie-talkie and his cojones. By the final scenes, he's limping, shoeless, shirtless, bloody and tired. But, hey, this is Christmas, right? Of course the good guy wins by dropping the lead terrorist off the roof in a vertigo inducing long shot. 8 p.m. Alamo Drafthouse, West Oaks, 1000 West Oaks Mall. For information, call 281-920-9211 or visit www.drafthouse.com. $8.
