Fall Mosaic

Revolve Dance Company's offering up a bargain - three dance companies for the price of one. The program's called Fall Mosaic, which makes perfect sense, considering Revolve's fusion of ballet, jazz and even hip-hop. The company is the professional arm of North Harris Performing Arts, and it's fresh from a lively stint last month at Dance Houston. Dance Source Houston writer Nancy Wozny previously called Revolve "one troupe to keep an eye on," and with stalwart company members Amy Cain (a riveting Carabosse in Dominic Walsh's Sleeping Beauty), the dramatically athletic Matt Dippel and his sister Dawn Dippel, the troupe flies high indeed. Guest performers for the weekend series include one of Houston's newest professional dance companies, Uptown Dance, and the spiritually infused Ad Deum Dance. 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Barnevelder Movement/Arts Complex, 2201 Preston. For information, call 281-363-2475 or visit www.revolvedanceco.com. $15.

Fri., Nov. 20, 8 p.m.; Sat., Nov. 21, 8 p.m., 2009
