First Tuesdays at the Houston Center for Photography
You can spend hours in the darkroom, numb your eyes with Photoshop or trek into the woods in search of the perfect shot, but if you never show anyone your photographs, you might as well point-and-shoot a blank wall. Thats why First Tuesdays at the Houston Center for Photography welcomes all you shy amateurs to an evening during which guests can share their complete or in-progress portfolios (printed or digitized) and get input from the experts. Muster a little self-esteem and join in with your peers from 7 to 9 p.m. 1441 West Alabama. For information, call 713-529-4755 or visit www.hcponline.org. Free.
First Tuesday of every month, 7-9 p.m., 2009
