Texican blues rockers Los Lonely Boys are blowing up all over, and rightfully so. Today you can get a unique view of San Angelo's favorite sons at a screening of Los Lonely Boys Cottonfields and Crossroads. The doc screening is a part of An Evening with Hector Galán, a showcase of films and documentaries by the Austin filmmaker. Other works include Galán's I Love My Freedom, I Love My Texas: On the Road with Mingo Saldivar y Los Cuatro Espadas and Don't Dance with Death, a short film on AIDS prevention featuring performances by Jennifer y Los Jetz. After the screenings, Galán will host a Q&A session, in which he'll talk about working with Los Lonely Boys and his other film subjects. Meet the director with a rocker's heart at 7 p.m. Reception follows screenings and talk.
