Global Climate Change: In Search of the Science
The sky is falling, the sky is falling! Nobody listened to Chicken Little when she ran around giving dire predictions, but it might be smart to listen to todays scientists when they give us the same bad news (more or less) at the Global Climate Change: In Search of the Science symposium. Youll hear about global warming, how Houston and the Gulf Coast are affected by climate change, affordable energy, and, of course, whether or not that pesky sky is falling. 1 to 8 p.m. University of St. Thomas, 4000 Mt. Vernon. For information, call 713-529-3076 or visit www.stthom.edu. Free.
