"How Healing Becomes Killing: Eugenics, Euthanasia and Extermination"

The intersection of ethics, politics and medicine is seen in the exhibit "How Healing Becomes Killing: Eugenics, Euthanasia and Extermination." The exhibit, which focuses on six killing centers active during the Third Reich, includes photos of smoke rising from a crematorium, the inside of gas chambers and Nazi propaganda posters promoting racial hygiene. "How Healing Becomes Killing" was created by Dr. Sheldon Rubenfeld, M.D., a clinical professor at Baylor College of Medicine who is the editor of Medicine after the Holocaust: from the Master Race to the Human Genome and Beyond and an expert on medical practices used by the Germans during WWII. 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Fridays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays, and 1 to 8 p.m. Sundays.
