It Came from the Bayou
Burning Bones Press and AIGA Houston present the second annual It Came from the Bayou printmaking festival with demonstrations, sales and the chance to meet your favorite artists including printmakers from across the country: Tom Huck from Missouri, Sean Starwars from Mississippi and Dennis McNett from New York. Of course, our own printmakers extraordinaire, Carlos Hernandez and the rest of the crew at Burning Bones, will also be on hand. Soul and underground garage music will be provided by DJ PsychedelicSexPanther. Oh, and get there early for a chance to pick up a free commemorative poster screenprinted with barbecue sauce (while they last).
Noon to 6 p.m. Continental Club, 3700 Main. For information, call 713-529-9899 or visit houston.aiga.org. Free.
Sat., April 27, noon, 2013
