Late Nite Catechism 4: Sisters Easter Catechism: Will My Bunny Go to Heaven?
Houston audiences have followed the exploits of Sister, from the Late Nite Catechism series, for years. Now shes back with a brand-new show, Sisters Easter Catechism: Will My Bunny Go to Heaven? Actress Denise Fennell plays the over-the-top nun, who is blisteringly funny as she tries to explain how bunnies, multicolored eggs and chocolate candies have anything to do with the resurrection of the son of God. As always, theres plenty of audience participation, including a wild Easter egg hunt and catechism quizzes. (Winners get candies and prizes, including much sought after glow-in-the-dark rosaries.) This is the Houston premiere of Bunny. 7:30 p.m. Thursdays, 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, and 3 p.m. Sundays. Through April 24. Stages Repertory Theatre, 3201 Alley Parkway. For information, call 713-527-0123 or visit www.stagestheatre.com. $19 to $35.
Thursdays-Sundays. Starts: March 24. Continues through April 24, 2011
