Its a play inside a play in Merry Christmas, George Bailey which is a stage show built around a 1940s-era radio performance of Its a Wonderful Life, for a fresh take on the Christmas classic. As with Wonderful Life, George Bailey shows the audience a man so depressed and disappointed with his life, hes about to commit suicide when his guardian angel steps in to show him what life would be like for his loved ones if he had never been born.
