Metropolitan Cooking and Entertaining Show
Nobodys more down-home than cooking queen Paula Deen, with her bubbly personality, zest for good living and dedication to fantastic food. You can watch Deen as she demonstrates some of her favorite recipes at the Metropolitan Cooking and Entertaining Show. Tara Wilson and Heloise (as in Hints from Heloise) are also going to be sharing their kitchen secrets, along with 22 other chefs, entertainment experts and grub gurus.
Especially enthusiastic Paula Deen fans (and by that we mean crazy-in-love, ardent devotees) will want to nab VIP tickets, which include prime seating to one of Paulas presentations, a private meet and greet with the fab lady herself, photo ops, autographed copies of her most recent cook-book, a chefs coat and all-day access to the VIP Chill Lounge.
10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Reliant Center, One Reliant Park. For information, call 703-321-4890 or visit www.metrocooking.com. $12 to $425.
