Museum of Fine Arts, Houston: We Love Jeff Bridges
In case you hadn't heard, Jeff Bridges won an Oscar for his performance in Crazy Heart at the Academy Awards this year. Our film friends at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston decided to celebrate the accomplishment with a retrospective of his films in the We Love Jeff Bridges film festival. Today's feature is Tucker: The Man and His Dream, about an inventor who has his designs crushed by the competition. The Big Lebowski follows on May 15, The Fabulous Baker Boys on May 28 and Starman on May 29. After that, it's The Fisher King on June 11, Thunderbolt and Lightfoot on June 18 and the film that caused all this fuss in the first place, Crazy Heart, on June 15. See Tucker: The Man and His Dream today at 7 p.m. Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, 1001 Bissonnet. For a full schedule, call 713-639-7515 or visit www.mfah.org/films. $6 to $7.
