New Years Eve Party and Overnight
Kids can blast off into 2009 during the New Years Eve Party and Overnight at the Jewish Community Center with a trip to the Rockets game (theyll be meeting the Milwaukee Bucks), then go back to the center for a DJ and interactive inflatables (think bouncy house construction of obstacle courses and game stations). There are also some kid-friendly movies, games, crafts, a midnight ball drop and a toast to welcome the new year with a kids version of bubbly. (Kids must be in fifth to eighth grade to attend the Rockets game; all the other fun is open to children in kindergarten to eighth grade.) Dinner, snacks and breakfast are included. 5 p.m. for the Rockets game, 7 p.m. for the Party and Overnight. Through 10 a.m. Thursday. 5601 South Braeswood. For information, call 713-729-3200 or visit www.jcchouston.org. $40 to $80.
