â€œOurs to Fight For: American Jews in the Second World Warâ€
In acknowledgement of the Jewish servicemen and women who served in the United States military during WWII, the Holocaust Museum of Houston presents Ours to Fight For: American Jews in the Second World War. The exhibit is made up of artifacts, military paraphernalia and documents, along with videos and audio programs that include the voices of servicemen and women describing their experiences. Theres an opening reception 6 to 8 p.m. July 14. (Advance registration is required.) Regular viewing hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, noon to 5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.
