It's strictly BYOT - Bring Your Own Tiara - for the young girls participating in the Houston Zoo's Princess Day. In between enjoying finger sandwiches, cookies and punch, visiting princesses will see frogs (actually endangered Houston toads) and meet the zoo staffers who care for them. Everyone gets a chance to take their photo with a frog and even - if so motivated - slap a big kiss on it (just in case one of them is a prince waiting to be released from an evil spell). It's all a benefit for frog conservation, so expect a few talks about what our reptilian friends need in order to survive their changing ecosystems. 10:30 a.m. to noon. 1513 North MacGregor. For information, call 713-533-6500 or visit www.houstonzoo.org. $20 to $35.
