Rob Kimbro (Deborah at 14 Pews, Ravenscroft at Mildred's Umbrella Theater) directs the Rice Players production of Rabbit Hole. Playwright David Lindsay-Abaire, winner of the 2007 Pulitzer Prize, delivers a heartbreaking story about Becca and Howie Corbett, a couple who seem to have it all. When their four-year-old son dies in a catastrophic accident, Becca and Howie are set adrift in a new world, one that's filled with confusion and disappointment. Around them are well-meaning family members and friends, but no one else understands the pain of losing a child and their efforts to ease the couple's suffering result in more hurt feelings.
