Disguises, swordplay and comedy are mixed in with singing nuns and an evil sheriff in the family musical
Robin Hood: The Courtship of Allan A’Dale, written by married authors Ric and Jeanne Averill. Can Robin Hood help the young minstrel Allan A’Dale persuade his true love, Genevieve, to marry him? Even if it means Genevieve must don men’s clothes and hide in the forest? Minstrel Allan sings “We Will Help You” and the nuns sing “Money for the Nunnery.” Susan Burge, one of the play’s directors, says,“The play...takes the audience on a fastpaced, swordswinging, mischiefmaking good time!”
