Seasons of Sharing: Christmas
The Children's Museum of Houston's annual "Seasons of Sharing" exhibit and activities focus on Christmas this week. Kids can turn a paper bag into a reindeer or learn about LED-lit Christmas trees. They can get into the science of the holidays while making snow from polymer and water, and investigate chromatography with experiments that test the ability of Christmas lights to reflect, absorb and refract. Or maybe theyd enjoy decorating gingerbread people and stringing them together to make garlands for the family tree. It's all on the schedule from December 17 to 23. Activity times change, so check the museum's Web site for the daily schedule. 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, Saturday, Tuesday and Wednesday, noon to 6 p.m. Sunday. 1500 Binz. For information, call 713-522-1138 or visit www.cmhouston.org. $6 to $7.
Tuesdays-Sundays. Starts: Dec. 17. Continues through Dec. 23, 2009
