Hope Stone will celebrate its tenth anniversary with something old and something new, as it premieres a new dance production by veteran choreographer Jane Weiner. SEE Me is based on the tale of five blind men and an elephant, in which each man touches a different part of the animal and, without the context sight provides, disagrees about what the elephant actually is. Set against a background of working and broken televisions, the piece examines how the modern person is blinded by technology and other incessant visual stimuli. 7:30 p.m. Thursday and today. Wortham Center, 500 Texas. For information, call 713-526-1907 or visit www.hopestoneinc.org. $25.
Thu., Jan. 10, 7:30 p.m.; Fri., Jan. 11, 7:30 p.m., 2008
