Off the streets and into the gallery, The Boardroom, Art League Houstons first-ever graffiti exhibition, isnt your average scrawl on the bathroom wall. The show features large-scale, original murals created collaboratively by artists WEAH, ACK! and Raiko Nin (this is also the first time the group has worked together). The artists create works on paper, freight trains and walls. Together theyve created a mix of bold, sprayed and splattered colors with intricate details worthy of a gallery. As a complement to the vibrant wall-size works which were created on site, filmmaker Alex PR!MO Luster will showcase several videos. Wed like to be more specific about the shows subject matter, but the artists and filmmaker are keeping their masterpieces under wraps until the opening. Regular viewing hours start today. 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays. Through April 17. Art League Houston, 1953 Montrose. Mondays-Saturdays, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Starts: March 6. Continues through April 17, 2009
