Reach Beervana this weekend at Specs Second Annual Brewmasters Craft Beer Festival at Moody Gardens in Galveston. The ambitious event features tastings of more than 400 different beers, along with food and live music. (There are also related events like pub crawls and dinners.) We started as the largest beer festival in the state, and we plan to give Texans even more, says producer Clifton McDerby. Visiting brewmasters from nearly 20 beer producers like Sam Adams, Boulevard, Bear Republic and Houstons own Saint Arnold will also offer educational seminars for the DIY crowd. 4 to 10 p.m. Friday, noon to 10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. 1 Hope Boulevard.
