Storied Beads: The Art of Teri Greeves
Artist Teri Greeves turns everyday objects into art in Storied Beads: The Art of Teri Greeves. Colorful, beaded Converse tennis shoes depict intricate scenes of modern Native American life, while a deer-hide umbrella, Indian Parade Umbrella, is decorated with characters marching in a parade. Also included are two small clutch bags and a wall cabinet. Using her work to reflect her proud cultural heritage, Greeves mixes something contemporary with what is, as she says, tradish. 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays. Through March 31.
